Get Started with GAT
Four steps from zero to automated trading on your own account. You can do all four yourself; the only part we do is setting your licence up against your MT5 account.
Get an MT5 Account
GAT runs inside MetaTrader 5 on a live account that you own. Before subscribing you need an MT5 account with a broker we support, because your licence is issued against that account number.
Already have one with a supported broker? Skip straight to step 2 — you will pick your broker from a list when you create your GAT account.
Create Your Account & Subscribe
Create your GAT account in the client portal. You will be asked for your MetaTrader 5 account number and your broker — your licence is tied to that account, so enter it carefully.
- Create your login and agree to the Terms of Service
- Verify your email address — check your spam folder if it does not arrive
- Choose your plan and pay
- Your licence is activated automatically once payment clears
Install the Software
Download the Expert Advisor from your portal dashboard and install it into your own MetaTrader 5 terminal. GAT does not host or run the software for you — it runs on your machine, under your control.
- Sign in to the portal and download the EA file from the setup guide
- In MT5, go to File → Open Data Folder, then
MQL5 → Experts - Copy the file into that folder, then press F5 in MT5 to refresh
- Drag the EA onto a XAUUSD chart and enter your licence key
- Make sure AutoTrading is switched on — the green button in the toolbar
Set Your Risk & Go Live
One step remains, and trading will not start without it. In the portal you choose your risk settings, then review and confirm your trading configuration. Until you confirm it, the software stays connected but takes no trades.
- Open Settings in the portal and set your risk limits — daily loss limit, profit cap, protection levels
- Open Trading configuration and read what the software will do on your account
- Confirm it. Trading begins from that point
GAT: Auth OK — config loaded.
